The Wreckord Player is a repurposed record player that was hacked for the BTU Lab launch partay. The internal speaker plays sounds from the vinyl but not before they’re intercepted and mangled.
Audio from the record is captured and played back in short clips with the playback rate and size of the clip being controlled by the repurposed volume and tone knobs.
The interface looks a lot like a 1970s era schoolroom record player because it is… or was?
